The Pavilion Café & Bar is back under the new management of villager Luke Jefferies.
Luke has a vision for the Pavilion and intends to take it forward with the input from the local community. Having worked on the Pavilion from the outset, through its build and now running it, he has a real passion to make it a roaring success.
Offering an air-conditioned space with breakfasts through to evening meals, and lighter bites for those who want something a bit smaller, the Pavilion is an ideal spot for villagers and visitors to meet and enjoy themselves.
“Castlethorpe has been without a pub for 17 years. When the Pavilion opened initially, it had great support. I’m keen to bring
that support back and work with the locals to give them a community space that is open to all, that provides value for money and quality food and drinks,” says Luke.
"I’m also keen to get some theme nights up and running for example a quiz, and food themed evenings such as Greek or Mexican.
"I’m also talking to lots of local bands and musicians as live music is ideal in a venue like the Pavilion.

The Pavilion Cafe & Bar was officially opened on 22 March by our MP Chris Curtis, who said: "Thank you to the Parish Council and all the villagers involved in this project for having me to share in this moment for you. I hope this will be a much-loved space for residents for years to come."
Councillor Phil Ayles, Chair of the Parish Council, said: "The Pavilion is an amazing achievement by residents working with the Parish Council to create a cafe and bar in a village with no other hospitality venue or place where people could 'drop in'.
"It is a tribute to the generosity of the village supported not only by the Parish Council and residents but also MK Community Fund and a number of local businesses and organisations. We thank them all most sincerely."
